I am currently at Peanut Montessori as a toddler guide for ages 14 months to 2.5 years old! I work alongside another assistant guide with our Lead guide. I’ve learned so much in the year I’ve been here and how truly important it is for kids to just be kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I love are puzzles, hand on work the child can do. Sensory seeking activities, coloring, free play, making slime, art projects, reading, science experiments. I love age appropriate toys and various works! Circle time involved music and movement as well as colors, ABC’s, and numbers!
Outside I leave to the imagination but enjoy sand as an outdoor sensory, mud kitchen area, scavenger hunts, nature walks, the pool, and the playground!
