Hello. I'm Kate.

I am energized by children. As a teacher, I bring wisdom and experience but can also enjoy playing games. I am looking to make a difference in children's lives by leading them toward self-confidence and self-control.

When teaching, I encourage children to be creative in their storytelling and writing. I like to read books, especially to little children, as it helps them to develop an attitude of life-long learning. I love it when they find a story amusing.

I am a teacher and a leader but I also follow the particular bent of a child in the ways that they learn.

My experience extends from: caring for three children under three years old to coming alongside a teenager who was experiencing anxiety to the point that she stayed in her room most of the day, at home for the remainder. After completing a specialized course with her, she graduated to working full-time as the first contact of a small company in the area.
