Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my 17 years of experience as a professional nanny, I also ran my own home daycare for 8 years. During that time, I cared for multiple children at once and provided a safe, nurturing, structured environment where children could learn, play, and develop.
I also have experience caring for children in group settings, including working with 14 three-year-old children at KinderCare. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in managing groups of children, maintaining routines, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, and creating a positive environment where each child feels cared for and included.
My childcare experience has given me the opportunity to work with children ranging from 4 weeks through school age, and I truly enjoy working with children at every stage of development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities with the children I care for, including reading, arts and crafts, music and dancing, imaginative play, baking and cooking, and sensory activities. I especially enjoy getting outdoors and staying active by going to the playground, swimming, taking walks, and exploring nature. I also love taking children on fun outings to indoor play places, libraries, parks, and the zoo. I enjoy creating special experiences and finding activities that match each child’s interests while helping them learn, explore, build confidence, and have fun!

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, loving relationship with the children in my care while providing them with a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment. I believe children need someone who truly listens to them, understands their individual personalities and needs, and makes them feel valued, supported and loved. I also believe in providing structure, clear boundaries, and age-appropriate guidance while allowing children to be curious, independent, and confident. Being a nanny is about so much more than simply caring for children—it’s about becoming someone they can trust, creating happy memories, and being a positive influence in their lives.
