My life !!! I have always been surrounded by and caring after kids, my youngest brother is 7y, I have an older brother who just started high school who is 14y and my sister is 12. I've also babysat for neighborhood families time to time, worked at a dance studio with kids age 3-15, and led/assisted in after-school clubs focused on mindfulness and yoga with kindergartners as well as 5th graders !
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being able to acclimate to whatever the child is feeling they need most in that moment, we can range anywhere from imaginative games like "House", to hands-on play with play dough or art-making, or simply reading a book together if we're feeling more low energy :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Compassion. Practicing compassion both inwards and outwards when things get overwhelming and chaotic helps us to better respond to whatever situation we may find ourselves in.

A sweet one is when i was giving snack out to one of the children I nanny for and they were saying "Kaya more snack please" and quickly afte re-phrased it as "Ky more snack please" and that became my nickname :)
