A little bit about me

Hello my name is Kayla, I am 21 years old and currently receiving my bachelors degree at Rider University. As a psychology major I have learned a great deal about child psychology through the many courses I have taken. All of these courses have deepened my understanding on how children learn, and grow in different environments. As a caregiver I am commited to creating not only a fun and enriching atmosphere, but most importantly a safe and caring one. Outside of my academic background, I have worked professionally with children at the Monroe Recreational summer camp. During this time I was responsible for supervising and engaging with early elementary school children between the ages of five and seven. I excelled at this job because of my love for children, and my dedication to being a positive presence in their lives. That being said, I would the opportunity to continue working with children and to further apply and grow my caregiving skills.
