This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is proactive, and takes pride in maintaining an organized household.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with daily care and supervision of our children
• Possible need for pick-up/drop-off to and from preschool (clean driving record required)
• Helping with speech language for toddlers
• Light housekeeping (tidying, hanging children’s laundry, dish washer loading/unloading, general organization) and occasional meal prep
• Assisting with errands and day-to-day household needs
• Supporting a structured, positive, and nurturing environment
Qualifications:
• Prior childcare and/or household assistant experience
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Must have multiple references
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
• Warm, patient, and engaging with children. Willing to do age appropriate activities, & take the kids outside swimming in the nice weather
• Preference for experience with developmental delays in toddlers, but not required.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Takes initiative
• Timely and trustworthy
• Positive attitude and caring presence
Schedule & compensation:
$25-30/hr depending on experience; ideally 8:00am-3:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September (three year old will be in school at this time).
Occasional Fridays are possible, and occasional 12 hour (5 am to 4pm) days if I am traveling for work possible but not required.
I will be working from home while this person is here.
Must be comfortable with a small dog.
Ideally this person grows with us until our second son is in school, and possibly after depending on work schedules in the future.
