A little bit about me

I currently work in childcare and am in love with it, working with children from the ages of just a couple months old to 12 years old has been an amazing journey. I learn more about them as individuals and as a group, I am also able to help them understand new things. Not only do I love my time with children but I also love to think of how much I am taking a load off of the parents back for some time. I do believe that both the parent and child need some time apart and while they are I am there for the child’s needs. I am CPR certified, first aid certified, obtain a drivers license and also own my own vehicle

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently work at Crunch Fitness in the childcare section which I get to care and spend time with many different kids for 2 hours and many times a week. I would be playing with them, teaching them little things, helping them, calming them, and more.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing with the children no matter if it is with their toys or even outside on the playground, I also love helping the older ones with their homework and helping the little ones with the little tasks that they are still learning how to accomplish.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is not to only care and watch the children but to also make them feel safe and to insure that the parents feels the same way. I also believe that it is important to also help the little ones grow in many different ways.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently work with those with many different types of special needs but I would say that I am better with those who have autism. I have found many ways to communicate with the children who are mute and also help them understand right from wrong.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite childcare moment is seeing all of the children either playing with new toys, standing up on their own, or even playing with others while the parent walks in to pick them up. I love seeing the smiles on the parents faces and then recording those special moments. I also appreciate those parents who pay attention to their little one and realize that not only do they love something specific but it’s also helping and teaching them as well.
