More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Besides babysitting, I’ve cared for children through a variety of hands-on experiences. During my Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) training, I completed over 50 clinical hours in behavioral and pediatric care units, where I supported children and patients with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, Huntington’s disease, and schizophrenia.
I also have two younger sisters — one of whom is adopted — which has given me meaningful experience in understanding different backgrounds, personalities, and needs. Along with volunteering at school and community events, these experiences have strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to make every child feel safe, included, and valued.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time with kids and finding fun, creative ways to help them learn and grow. Some of my favorite things to do are arts and crafts, reading stories together, and baking little treats they can be proud of. I enjoy playing outside, going on walks or park adventures, and having dance or music time just to laugh and be silly. I also like helping with homework or school projects and turning everyday moments into something special and positive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and genuine connection with both the child and the family. A great nanny doesn’t just supervise — they nurture, teach, and support a child’s emotional, social, and physical growth while ensuring they feel safe and valued.
It’s also about reliability, communication, and consistency — showing up every day with patience, positivity, and understanding. Children thrive when they feel loved, heard, and encouraged, and that bond of trust is what truly makes a nanny’s role meaningful and impactful.

My experience with special needs children...
I have hands-on experience working with children and patients with special needs, including those with autism, Down syndrome, Huntington’s disease, and schizophrenia. Through my LNA training and 50+ clinical hours in behavioral care units, I’ve learned to provide calm, patient, and individualized care that supports both safety and emotional well-being. I adapt activities and communication to each person’s needs, fostering trust, comfort, and a positive, inclusive environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was teaching a child how to read. We spent weeks practicing together, and the day he finally read an entire book to me was unforgettable. Seeing his confidence and pride grow reminded me why I love working with children — every small victory feels big when you’ve helped make it happen.

Part-Time Nanny Available in San Tan Valley, AZ: Mackenzie B.
I recently returned home from Chicago after serving in my church for 18 months, and I’m excited to continue working with children—a passion that’s grown stronger through every experience. I love their joy for life and the way they see the world, and I’ve learned so much from both kids and their parents. These lessons are helping me prepare for the kind of parent I hope to be someday.
I’m dependable, honest, and always lead with integrity. Safety is my top priority when caring for children, which is why I’m CPR certified. I bring a creative spirit to everything I do—whether it’s turning chores into games, singing songs, or playing guitar to brighten the day. I can cook, clean, and I’m happy to help however you need, because I know every family has its own rhythm and values. My goal is to make your life easier and your child’s day more joyful.
