Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I worked in a daycare for a year with children all different ages. I learned a lot being at that job and it made me love kids even more.
The most important part about being a nanny…To me, the most important thing about being a nanny is to have a connection/good relationship with the child. It’s good for kids to know that you’re not just there to baby-sit them but to also help them, teach them, support them, ETC.
My experience with special needs children…I have a special needs brother, me and my other siblings all pitched in to help with his studies and daily routines. Growing up with a special needs brother has taught me patience, and how to be able to work with them. When I was a junior in high school I was a TA for a special needs classroom so I’m really strong working with them academically too.
