Hi! My name is Kendall. I am a young, responsible nanny with several years of experience. I became a nanny in high school (I was homeschooled and able to work more). I have experience with newborns-middle school. I love being a nanny. I love having the opportunity to help children learn and grow. I enjoy taking kids on new adventures (like local parks, farms, and play places) and also to classes (little gym, libraries, swim, and music). I like to let little ones learn through play and new experiences. I enjoy playing with kids being a part of growing their imagination. I am currently looking for a full time position and hoping to find a family that is looking for a nanny long term.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered with a local 4-H group as a leader. This involved helping children (ages 4-12) learn about animals and how to care for them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outside. I also like being creative. Sometimes I will do stuff like create a scavenger hunt where the child has to see and find certain things. Then when we get back home, we can make a craft out of the treasures. I like doing messy stuff outside. Such as painting pumpkins in the fall or painting with bubbles in the summer. I enjoy taking kids to kid friendly classes (little gym, story time, swim classes), scheduling play dates, and letting them have new fun opportunities. I like getting kids out of the house and see new things like farm parks, new playgrounds, and other play places, but I also like doing fun stuff at home like craft projects, games, and just playing and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is teaching a child. Not just stuff like letters and numbers, but stuff like how to share, how to be kind, and how to make friends.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have had so many fun nanny moments with each child I’ve been with. Probably some of my favorites were meeting new little ones that were born after I started or hitting new milestones like walking, crawling, and talking. Each day brings a special new memory.
