I work at a local childcare center. I work as a Lead Infant Teacher and I love my kids! Prior to that, I worked as a Lead Teacher at a Family Owned Private Daycare. I am experienced with infants, toddlers, two year olds, three year olds, preschool children, prek, and school aged children. Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing circle time with the children! It helps them to learn how to interact with friends and cognitively communicate through song and dance! Outdoor activities are also important as well! I like to do scavenger hunts and during the summer time we do water play with bubbles and a speaker with music! I also take pride in my arts and crafts skills. I love making cute little footprint or handprint art for any holiday season!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The thing I love most about being a nanny or teacher is caring for the children wholeheartedly. Seeing them develop and grow into their own is truly amazing and emotionally fulfilling to me as a person but also a caregiver. I would love to add to someone’s family by doing that.🤎
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children was in a school program. 3 special needs children were in my care and it was the greatest experience of a lifetime. Each child was cared for greatly and I built a special connection with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My fav moment is probably when I was talking to parents about the child’s day and they said a new word! The parents were shocked and happy that their child was learning about the solar system and could recite the songs that we were singing! It definitely made me proud!
