I worked at quality community services and was a direct support professional for special needs residents. I had 34 total all between the ages of 18-72, also have family members all with kids in between ages 0-8 and watch them on occasion.

When they realize they are stuck with you when parents leave but they like/love you and come running to sit in my lap or just want to be comforted or read to. My all time favorite is when they fall asleep on me and parents come home saying they don’t do that with anyone else anymore! so rewarding💕
