Children are my passion.I currently teach 5th grade. Also obtaining a Master's degree in education. n the past I have babysat/nanny for several years now and feel extremely comfortable doing so. This includes a very close family of four children ranging in age from 2 years to eight years old. This then led me to my nanny job, which I was actually recommended for with whom I have been with for three years now and those children are now eleven and fourteen. I have also had experience in day care where I was the two/three year old teacher with a ratio of 6:1 children to teachers at a time. I progressed onto the toddlers class which consisted of one year old to two, along then with very young infants of only a couple months.I've also been a personal nanny for 2 week old newborn twins. I have much experience with feeding, cooking, changing diapers, sticking to a routine nap schedule, chauffeuring to events, parks, etc, and of course keeping the children happy. My most recent babysitting position is back with a newborn as well as a 2 and 4 yer old family.I understand children and feel that you can really find out a lot about them by just talking and interacting thoroughly.

I have been a nanny for almost 22 years. My career started when I took a parenting class in high school. I love to teach children and watch them grow and change, while they go through the many stages of life. It is a wonderful feeling, knowing that I have a small part in a child's life as they grow. I have had experience with older children as well, but many of my years have been with infants and toddlers. All have been long-term/full-time positions with professional and well-known families. Although I am shy at first, I can be talkative at times. I feel I am pretty energetic. I enjoy taking children to the zoo, beaches, pools, movies, play dates, parks, etc. I even have taken them to doctor's appointments, swimming lessons, and ball games/practices. I also take them to and from school and help with homework. I have also worked overnight and on a weekly basis, traveling with families on vacations. Even though the main focus is the child and the care that I provide, I am also able to do house cleaning. This service is usually performed during the child's nap or rest time. My parenting class taught CPR and I also had it in a health class I had taken. I was updated in CPR in 2003, when a nanny position I had involved a premature infant. I will have no problem if I need to become certified again. I have been screened and passed a four-hour interview with a nanny service (information available). I have letters of recommendations. I have a recent driving record available, along with a police background clearance record. This was all required through the nanny service. My husband and I have been together for 12yrs and out of those 12 have been married for 8. We have a little girl who is 4yrs old. Please email me if you have any questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and I hope to hear from you soon!

I have babysat since the age of thirteen for children of all ages. I have had times where I had to stay the night for families to help out which I have never minded. I have taken care of families from 3 children that included a set of 3year old boy twins to just one child who was really quiet and kept to theirselves but by the end of the time they were very outgoing and asked to have me back for later dates. I have also worked at a couple day cares. I have worked at one at my church where I took care of infants to three year olds during service. The other day care I worked at I worked in the room that children ranged from 5-9 years old and the children were always wanted to come back to play with me.

I have never been a nanny, but I began babysitting when I was 10 years old. I cared for my siblings while my mother worked (7 children aging between 2 and 12). As I got older, I began babysitting for neighbors and relatives. There are a few families that I continue to care for now. I am most experienced with children between the ages of 2 and 10 but have cared for older and younger children. I am accustomed to preparing meals, helping through bath-time, and taking children out for extracurricular activities. I have worked over-night sessions where I put the children down for bed and checked on them throughout the night.
