Working at the Children's Farm home has prepared me well for working with down-syndrome, kiddos all across the spectrum, behavioral and mental health issues. Also kiddos with special medical needs, Im trained and prepared for. I was 11 when my Brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and I learned how to fully take care of him; along with other illnesses.

When connecting with a kid, or they learned something new and seeing that little lightbulb come on. Seeing them have fun is a precious moment that should be cherished.
