A little bit about me

21 years of childcare experience. I'm passionate about providing high-quality care to children creating nurturing environments for them to learn and grow. I recently had a fantastic nanny share experience with a wonderful family, but they no longer require my services. This opens up an opportunity for me to connect with another amazing family in need of reliable and dedicated childcare. Throughout my career, I have nurtured and cared for countless children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. From changing diapers to teaching valuable life skills. Being a nanny has shaped my character, instilling in me patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of child development. I excel at age-appropriate activities, educational growth, and encouraging social interaction among children. I pride myself on being patient, nurturing, and trustworthy. I understand the unique needs and challenges of nanny sharing and believe in open communication, mutual respect, and collaboration among all!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my experience as a nanny and conducting baking classes for children, I also have expertise as a postpartum doula. As a postpartum doula, I provide valuable support and care to new parents during the early weeks and months after childbirth. I offer assistance with newborn care, including feeding, soothing, and establishing routines. I also provide emotional support and guidance for the physical and emotional recovery of the parents. Additionally, I am available for occasional overnight positions, where I can provide extra support and peace of mind to parents who may need a good night's rest. My goal is to create a nurturing and comforting environment for both the parents and the newborn, ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As a nanny, I love engaging children in activities that are fun and promote their development. Here are some of the activities I enjoy:
1. Arts and Crafts: Creating artwork using different materials like paints, crayons, and clay stimulates children's creativity and fine motor skills.
2. Outdoor Play: Taking children to the park, playing games, and exploring nature helps with their physical and cognitive development.
3. Storytelling and Reading: to help develop language skills and imagination.
4. Music and Dance: Engaging children in music and dance helps them develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression.
5. Play Dates: Organizing play dates for children to socialize, play games, and develop their social skills.
6. Story Hour at the Library: Introducing children to the joy of reading by attending story hours at the library.
7. Music Class: Taking children to music classes to explore different instruments, rhythms, and melodies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny is the well-being and happiness of the children in your care. As a nanny, you have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. This involves providing a safe and nurturing environment, fostering their emotional and intellectual development, and creating a sense of trust and connection. It's essential to be attentive, patient, and understanding, tailoring your approach to each child's individual needs and interests. Building a strong relationship with the children and their family is also crucial, as it helps create a sense of stability and support. Ultimately, being a nanny is about being a role model, a caregiver, and a source of love and guidance for the children you care for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny is to be able to watch the children I cared for grow and develop a deep bond with me.
I started with a family who had a two-year-old and a three-month-old. Normally, I begin with newborns, so it was a bit of a change. The older sister, who was initially extremely shy and reserved, started opening up to me. After about a week, she warmed up to me as if I had been in her life since birth. It was a special feeling to know that she felt safe and comfortable enough to confide in me.
As time went on, I watched her confidence grow. She became the star and social butterfly in her neighborhood. Being able to witness her personal growth and knowing that I played a part in nurturing her development was incredibly rewarding. The love and trust she had for me as her nanny was a testament to the strong connection we had built together.
