I volunteered for three years at a children’s hospital, and over the past five years I’ve worked with two families, 2 years each, caring for both toddlers and infants.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going on walks, playing games and spending time having fun with the kids. Puzzles and educational activities while also having fun are my specialty! Taking care of them as if they were mine, with love and respect while also respecting the boundaries set by the family!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a real bond with the kids and giving the family a sense of safety and comfort, knowing their child is loved and well cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

When I lived in Brazil, I worked as a nanny for a 3-year-old boy with dyslexia. I also cared for a 4-year-old cancer patient, creating fun and playful moments to brighten his days, as well as a 5-year-old boy with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There was this little girl, Scarlet, I nannied a while back and I was teaching her Portuguese and every time she got a word or a sentence correctly we would hug and tell 3 things we loved about each other, it helped her learn some words in another language while also fortifying our bond.
