I nannied two boys ages, 2 and 4 for about a year 1 to 2 times a week. They were very energetic so we spent a lot of time outside. The family had a pool so I do have experience with caring for kids around bodies of water.
I babysat very frequently for a family with two girls ages 2 and 5. They enjoyed doing crafts, playing with toys, and watching movies.
I need last summer for a family with two boys ages 5 and 8. They both played baseball and hockey so we spent most of our time outside practicing their sport and sometime inside playing with toys or video games. Periodically the family would schedule times for us to go to the trampoline park or out to eat.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel it’s most important to fill the kids time up with things that are interactive such as crafts, playing outside, or fun learning lessons rather than being stuck to a screen all day. I understand that kids get excited to have somebody other than their parent watch them so I try to make the day as fun as possible.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve babysat a few times for a family with a little boy who had autism. He required special attention, but for the most part enjoyed playing by himself. My main job was to feed, cleanup, and supervise.

I love when I come back to babysit a family I don’t see often and the kids get so excited.
