More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been a teacher and tutor for the past 10+ years, until June 2020. Since then, I’ve continued to work as a personal tutor, in person and virtually, but I've decided to explore new ways that my combined experience as an active, creative teacher and adventurous, loving mom can be put to use.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love working with children, and even though my experience at this point doesn't include specific nanny experience, the most important part of working with children is making a connection, building trust, and maintaining their routine; and of course- having fun! From there, everything else flows.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked with students with ADHD, Downs Syndrome, autism spectrum, as well as some with physical limitations, on a limited basis, mostly as a substitute teacher. I've had students with ADD/ADHD as a teacher.
I do not have formal training or certification with special Ed or special needs students or children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are as a mom! It's difficult to pick just one but I'd have to say I love watching them explore the world around them, introducing them to new things. Re-experiencing things through a child's eyes never gets old for me. Not to mention countless funny moments! I should address that while I've taught and cared for many children, I have not previously worked as a nanny. However, I 100% confident that I could and would be a great fit for the right family!
