More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My first 3 years of high school I spent taking child development classes, mainly focused towards newborns- 4 year olds. My senior year I had the opportunity to spend 3 hours every other day at an educare, where I was put in the 1 year olds room for a semester and the 4 year old room for the other semester. I would also periodically be asked to help in the 5 month old room. With this class I have learned how to greatly care for children of growing ages and what each of those milestones look like. I was taught how to create lesson plans- which has given me a more creative mind in activities to do for what each age group should be learning. I have been a sitter/ nanny for over a year and worked as a special events coach in a gymnastics gym for 4 years.

Ive taken 3 year long classes where I had the opportunity to create lasting bonds and memories with my peers with special needs. In 2 of the classes I would help with classroom based activities and the other was a gym class.
