Hi! My name is Makenna and I am 22 years old. I have had a lot of experience with children. I grew up as the oldest of six children and have had multiple babysitting/nanny jobs in the past. I currently have an almost 5 month old who would be coming with me to the job. I am First Aid and CPR certified and work well with all ages. I have worked as a toddler teacher at Ashland Training Center and Preschool and Park Street School. I also have experience being a nanny.

Love riding bikes, playing ball, going on walks, to the park, coloring, crafts, legos, dolls, and simply just hanging out and watching shows and movies. I love to read so I would love to read to them. I also love music and dancing.

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is having a good relationship with the child/children you are caring for. it is important that they feel safe and secure in your care.

My experience with special needs children...

I only have experience with children with autism. I have not been around any other children with other special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't know why but my favorite thing to hear is my name from the children. I love hearing them grow a relationship with me. I once nannied a three-year-old boy and he always called me "Miss Makenna" and I don't know why but it always warmed my heart. I love knowing that the kids I care for are growing a relationship with me and it just fills my heart knowing that I have a relationship with them.
