I have seen countless videos of children being abused by their caretakers and it absolutely breaks my heart because children are sweet and innocent, and no one, especially a child, should have to endure such treatment. That is the reason that i decided to become a fulltime nanny. If I can save even one child from falling into the hands of a negligent caregiver, then I am happy. I would rather go home completely exhausted from caring for 20 children before I allow one child to be mistreated by someone else who is only in it for the money. While a child is in my care, they won't just be sat in front of a television all day. We will engage in a variety of productive activities such as reading books, coloring, learning the alphabet, learning how to count, and if allowed by the parent, going outside and learning about nature. I also assist in potty training, teaching children the basic know how's in life such as how to button clothes, tie shoes, brush teeth, make their beds and clean up. I take great pride in caring for children so that parents can go to work to provide for their families worry free.
