I am looking for a full time long term Nanny job. I have a daughter myself and I love children. I'm very interactive and LOVE playing with them. I love teaching kids and being apart of the growth and mile stones they will come across. I have worked in day cares and have experience with many different age groups beings how I've helped my mother with my siblings and also my nieces and nephews. At the age of 15 I even started special olympics volunteering! This was helping young children with all different kinds of special needs be active, learn, and have fun! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a lot of experience with a variety of ages. Growing up with many siblings has also been a great learning experience and has helped me realize that every child is different and special in there own way. I now have a daughter of my own and I think that is something that can comfort my clients knowing that I am nourishing and motherly without over stepping boundaries.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do fun educational things with children. I love watching them grow and meet there milestones. I also enjoy doing physical activities to get them going in a healthy way such as little gymnastics classes or yoga, which I am able to teach myself. I also enjoy going on walks or going to the park, as well as inside activities that allow the child(ren) to be creative ; arts and crafts, making the parents nice little notes and gifts, and little cooking activities are some examples for inside activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure you and your child are comfortable and well taken care of. Letting the child have fun as well as practicing educational things along the way! I look at a nanny job the way I look at being a parent, which is making sure I treat your child the way I would my own, without over stepping boundaries of course. What I mean by not over stepping boundaries is, I know it can be hard as a parent to leave the little bundle of joys. And it can sometimes be hard as a working parent because you want to spend time with your child and you're leaving them with someone else. As a mother, I wouldn't want someone coming and trying to take over a parenting role. So I would do my job, but in the same sense, not step on any toes and be there for the child reminding them that Mommy and Daddy love them very much! More so like a friend who wants what's best for them! After all, they do only get one Mommy and one Daddy! I think that is very important to do and know when taking on a job like this.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience taking care of children with special needs such as autism, down syndrome, and ADHD etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I do not have one specific favorite moment, but I do in general, really enjoy watching children grow and meet goals parents or the child themselves will set. Every memory I keep in my heart and enjoy thinking about. Every child is different and special and deserves the world!
