My childcare experience includes several years of babysitting for multiple families, caring for children ranging from infants and toddlers to school-aged children up to age 12. Working with such a wide range of ages has allowed me to become highly adaptable and comfortable supporting children through different stages of development, routines, and individual needs.

I have also volunteered extensively within my local church’s children’s ministry. My experience includes caring for infants and young children in the nursery, providing a safe and nurturing environment while parents attended Sunday services. In addition, I have served as a Sunday school teacher for children ranging from approximately ages 5–12, where I was responsible for supervising, engaging, and teaching groups of children.

One of my favorite parts of working with children is finding creative ways to keep them engaged, learning, and having fun. I love drawing, coloring, arts and crafts, singing, imaginative play, and even creating our own board games together. I enjoy encouraging children to use their imagination and express their personalities through fun and meaningful activities. I also enjoy reading, puzzles, baking, outdoor play, trips to the park, nature walks, and library visits. I love getting to know each child’s unique interests and planning activities around what excites them. Whether we’re creating something from scratch, singing together, exploring outside, or enjoying a quiet reading day, I strive to make our time together positive, engaging, and memorable while creating an environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important thing about being a nanny is creating a relationship built on trust, safety, and genuine care. Parents are trusting you with the most important people in their lives, and I never take that responsibility lightly. A great nanny should be someone a child feels safe with, supported by, and excited to see, while also being someone parents can confidently depend on. To me, it’s about being present, patient, attentive, and understanding that every child has their own personality and needs. I also believe consistency is incredibly important. Children thrive when they know they have someone who will show up for them, encourage them, listen to them, and create a positive environment. My goal is always to be a dependable and caring presence who contributes something meaningful to both the child’s life and the family as a whole.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s honestly difficult for me to choose just one favorite nanny moment because what I value most is simply being a part of a child’s life and having the opportunity to be a positive light in their day. That is something I strive to be not only for children, but for everyone around me. Some of my favorite memories are during the holidays, when there is so much excitement and joy. Seeing a child’s face light up, hearing their laughter, and getting to share in those special moments genuinely makes me happy and gives me such a sense of fulfillment. I love knowing that, even in the small everyday moments, I can help a child feel cared for, encouraged, and valued. For me, being a nanny is about more than providing care—it’s about building a genuine connection, creating happy memories, and being someone a child can feel safe and comfortable with.
