More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked with children of many different ages and needs over the years. My first job in high school was at a daycare, and I later taught ballet to toddlers, middle schoolers, and children with special needs. I also worked for Webby Dance Company, teaching dance classes at local childcare centers and elementary schools. I’ve also helped care for my niece while living with my sister and supporting her while she worked full-time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a little bit of everything with kids! I especially love arts and crafts, drawing, playing outside, making snacks together, and staying active. I’ve done ballet my whole life, so I’m always happy to dance and teach some ballet too! I also enjoy helping with homework and everyday responsibilities. Most importantly, I love encouraging kids, supporting their interests, and creating a fun and caring environment where they can be themselves. 😊

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is being responsible and attentive to each child’s individual needs while creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and cared for. I believe being calm, patient, encouraging, and energetic helps children feel comfortable being themselves and having fun! 😊

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with children with special needs comes from teaching a weekly creative dance class. I worked with the children through movement, music, and creative activities in a supportive group setting, with their parents present during class. While my experience is limited to this setting, I really enjoyed working with the kids and encouraging them to participate in ways that felt comfortable and fun for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was while caring for my niece. We were taking one of our walks to the park when she saw a nutria for the first time. Her reaction was priceless—she started giggling and laughing, and we ended up giggling together. I loved getting to experience that little moment of wonder with her and seeing how much joy it brought her. 😊
