More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Previous teacher as well within a childcare facility , there I worked with children from infancy to toddlers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy creating fun, engaging, and educational experiences for children both indoors and outdoors. I love spending time outside exploring parks, going on nature walks, playing age-appropriate games, and encouraging active play that supports gross motor development. Inside the home, I enjoy planning hands-on activities that spark creativity and curiosity, such as sensory bins, learning games, dramatic play, and building activities.

I also love involving children in simple cooking and baking activities, which help develop independence, fine motor skills, and early math concepts. Arts and crafts are another favorite of mine, whether we’re painting, coloring, creating seasonal projects, or exploring new materials. My goal is to make learning fun while creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and build confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me as a nanny is being someone families can trust and rely on. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow. I love being a positive part of a child’s development, whether that’s helping them reach milestones, build confidence, or learn new skills. I also value working as a team with parents, maintaining open communication, and ensuring we’re all working together to support the child’s best interests.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for a neurodiverse child through occasional babysitting and have also worked with children who have hearing impairments. These experiences taught me the importance of being patient, adaptable, and communicating in ways that best support each child’s individual needs. I enjoy creating an environment where every child feels comfortable, understood, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little girl through potty training. After lots of encouragement, reminders, and celebrating the small wins, she finally got the hang of it. One day, after successfully using the potty, she stood up, threw her hands in the air, and proudly announced, “I’m a big girl now!” with the biggest smile on her face. It was such a sweet and funny moment, and seeing how proud she was made all the hard work worth it.
