Honestly, I’m down to do whatever the kids want. Dress up? On it. Legos? On it. Going outside? On it. You want me to sit down and watch a 3 hour Disney princess movie? On it! As long as the activity is safe and reasonable, I’m down for whatever the child wants. I honestly enjoy all of them.

To ensure the child is safe, happy, and sound. The thought that I could be in someone’s memories and part of the reason they grew into the person they are today warms my heart.

Me and my best friend grew up taking care of her autistic siblings. I learned how to be more patient with them, the difference between a meltdown and a tantrum, when they can’t communicate their feelings, when they feel overwhelmed etc.
