Alexandria$20/hr  |  2 kids
My husband and I are working professionals, and he travels for work about 1-2 weeks a month. We both take the train to work, so we are looking for someone who is able to come to our home in Alexandria.

We have a 1yr daughter, Morgan, and are expecting our second child this July. Thus, we are looking for someone to start September/October when I go back to work.

Morgan is a very outgoing, happy child. She loves to laugh, dance, and meeting new people. On walks, she is constantly waving at everyone that we pass. Her favorite artists are Aretha Franklin and Ariana Grande. Morgan is close to walking but confidently climbs stairs and is constantly on the move.

Flexibility is very important to us, especially when Brian is on travel. Typical schedule will be normal working hours (8-5), but we are flexible with this. Also, a plus would be someone who could work until 6:30 on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays so that we may attend a yoga class at our gym. Our nanny should be able to climb a flight of stairs and also be comfortable with dogs (we have a small very friendly dog).

Our family leads an active lifestyle. Brian and I run long distance races; we love to go hiking/camping; and can often be found in out in VA winecountry. We also travel both domestically as well as internationally.

We also have a second home in Hilton Head, SC that is walking distance to the beach. Although not a requirement, a plus would be someone who is able to, on occasion, travel with us there in a work/vacation capacity.

We are seeking a nanny share starting in either December or January for our two children (Shirlington/ Del Ray/ Bel Aire Alexandria area). Ideally, we would like to host as our 2.5 year old son will go to a pre-school near our house three days a week. I am due with our second child in October and feel the best nanny share would be with a family that either has a newborn or a 2.5-3 year old. That way the nanny is only handling two age groups rather than three! If you are seeking a nanny share with another infant or toddler, please let us know! I also have a home office and can step in when the nanny gets overwhelmed or life just gets a bit crazy. Both my husband and I have very flexible work schedules. Thanks!

Need Before and After Care. Happy to work with an existing home babysitter or home daycare. If a short term works we may look at continuing at the end of summer and through the school year. I also have a spare bedroom if someone is looking for this kind of work and a living space.

Hello!
Our family is new to Alexandria, VA from Frederick, MD. We are a Christian family, I am a first time mom and work full time in DC, my husband works from home so help is greatly appreciate for our young daughter. Baby Ava is super friendly and eager to learn. Our family has Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean, and Italian roots so any of these languages can be spoken with baby Ava in addition to sign language and Spanish.

We would hope to find a nanny to help care, feed, play, and teach our little one. We’ve never hired help before and we are open to negotiate time and pay.

We’re super excited to find a nanny to part of our family and our daughter’s life. Hope to meet you soon!
