I am graduating from Bloomington South with the class of 2021. I’ve had a lot of experience with kids. Ive worked in the church nursery with ages 0-5, I’ve babysat for groups of families with a large group of kids ranging from 1-12. I’ve also occasionally took up random babysitting jobs for parents who want a night out. I’ve also grown up with a brother ten years younger than me, so from a very young age I started babysitting him and helping take care of him. I love working with children, they have so much joy and creativity! My extracurriculars include violin lessons, a member of the Hoosier youth philharmonic, youth group at SOCC, and I own a small jewelry business! The most important part about being a nanny is prioritizing the kids’ physical and emotional health and their safety. I think it is also important to listen to the kid’s thoughts and feelings rather than making all decisions for them. Each child and their family are diverse in their own ways and I strongly believe in respecting their values regardless of my own. I want to be a positive influence in a child’s life.
