More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a companion to a preschooler who had a problem with adjusting to a preschool & didn't get along well with other children. I accompanied him to a Montessori preschool and stayed with him the entire day for a week to help him with his tasks in a preschool and helped him to get along with other children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take children to the park, playground, splashpad, feed the ducks, shopping if requested by parents, exploring nature, reading to children, listening to music, dancing, birdwatching, pretend tea parties, cooking with older children and crafts.
My hobby is photography so with parents' permission I can take photos of their children and send the photos to them so they will know exactly what we're doing during the day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is helping and seeing children reach their first milestones. I witnessed their first step, heard their first word, saw them smiling at me for the first time, read the first word, gave me the first hug, etc.
My experience with special needs children...
A child had a problem adjusting to a preschool so I was his companion at his daycare for a week to help him adjust to a Montessori preschool.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I overheard a mother tell her friends "my kid thinks her nanny is her mother".
When 2 sisters stood 1/2 hour by a window waiting for me to arrive. When a child wouldn't go to a hospital without me. Another nanny moment: when a little boy told me that I was his favorite nanny, ever! He wanted me to put it in writing and he would copy it and sign it. He was in kindergarten and couldn't write too well. He would be my best reference!
A little girl used to hide my shoes so I wouldn't leave.
I love all children!❤️
