Hi,it's me Chelley. I'm your new nanny. I've been with my current family for over 12 years and now the kids are old enough to be on their own. I have many years of experience and love all kids. They say it takes a village and and I'm here to be a part of that village. I'm looking for a full time job and I am pretty flexible. I will accept part time depending on the schedule. I love all things outside and love swimming with the kids in the summer. Great way to burn off that energy. Arts and crafts, reading books, playing board games are all my favorite activities, especially a good dance party before nap or bedtime to get out all the extra wiggles. I'm not a huge fan of screen time for littles but a good movie night is always fun. I'm also open to part-time depending on the pay and hours. Message me and let's raise some amazing tiny humans! ❤️

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with children since I was a child myself. I took early education classes in highschool and community college. I am finishing up working for the same family for a little over 12 years. I also have experience working with twins. I've worked with micro preemies all the way to middle school age kids. I do have some experience working with special needs children as well. I have also cared for the elderly as well including someone with Parkinson's disease and dementia. I have worked with autistic kids, kids with ADHD and also kids with dyslexia and speech delays. I am very patient and caring.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outside, yes, even in the summer. I love age appropriate arts and crafts. I'm not a huge fan of screen time. I would rather we play a board game or read books instead of TV or tablet time but a movie every once in awhile is fun too. I love the summer reading program at the library. I have taken kids to all of their sports in the past, tennis, basketball, swimming, soccer, jiujitsu, music lessons, occupational therapy, physical therapy, Drs appointments. I do have to say the only place I am not a huge fan of is trampoline parks because they smell like feet . LOL. Seriously though, I've attended quite a few over the years and they aren't that bad. I do love going to the park when the weather is nice. Phoenix has so many great city parks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Communication is key! It's important to have good communication in this job for everyone involved. I believe if you maintain open lines of communication and set out your goals and manage your expectations it will help everything to run smoothly. I am here to help make your life easier and give you peace of mind your kids are in good hands while you are away. I am here to reflect whatever parenting style you choose. I am basically here as an extension of you. While you are providing for your family, you can rest assured your children are well cared for, respected, and loved.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would have to say that my favorite nanny moment would be the moment of DISCOVERY. By discovery, I mean that moment when you see the little light bulb click and the learn something new or figure something out. I love when they discover their tongue or hand when they are babies or when they reach their milestones big or small. I just love that AHA moment when they understand, especially if I've been able to help them reach that milestone.
