A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Mollie and I am a 23 year old recent graduate with my Bachelor in Social Work. I started working with kids at 15 and continued on and off throughout my early adulthood. I have experience nannying, babysitting, working in community childcare and one on one in school environments with children with disabilities. I love working with kids of all ages, including play, school support, and social emotional care. I hope to work with your child if I look like a good match :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked with a child who was particularly shy and anxious. He often would wear a hat to signify when he was anxious, and was hesitant to play with me as a new person in his life. After a few weeks of giving him space but still engaging with him calmly and with patience, I came to the home one day and he had his hat off and only put it back on again when having breakdowns or needing space. This was a really reassuring and sweet moment to see him become comfortable with me, and most importantly safe to have me as his caregiver during the day.
