A little bit about me

I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old, beginning with babysitting and naturally progressing into summer camps, classroom teaching, and parenting. I spent 13 years as a teacher, gaining extensive experience supporting children of different ages, learning styles, and needs.

I am also the founder and owner of Pisgah Roots Nature Camp, a North Carolina–based program created to support homeschool families through nature-based learning and hands-on experiences. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong understanding of child development, positive guidance, creativity, and fostering safe, engaging environments.
