More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I truly enjoy engaging children in activities that are both fun and enriching. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's going on nature walks, exploring the park, or simply playing games in the yard. These experiences not only help children stay active but also encourage their curiosity and connection with the world around them. I also enjoy doing creative projects together, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, or building with blocks and Legos, as these activities allow children to express themselves and develop fine motor skills in an enjoyable way.
Reading books, baking simple recipes, and doing educational activities like puzzles or science experiments are also among my favorite things to do with kids. I always aim to tailor our time together to each child's personality and interests, creating a nurturing environment where they feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with the child and their family. A nanny plays a crucial role in a child’s development, providing not only physical care but also emotional support and guidance. This requires patience, empathy, consistency, and strong communication skills. By creating a safe and loving environment, a nanny helps children feel secure and confident as they grow. At the same time, maintaining open and respectful communication with parents ensures that the child’s needs are met in a way that aligns with the family’s values and routines.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Boca Raton, FL: Alejandra M.
Hi! My name is Alejandra and I am currently working at a preschool and am also an academic tutor at FAU.
I adore children and have been babysitting since I was 12 and have been working in professional childcare for 3 years. I am CPR and first aid certified and have an Early Child Care license. I am familiar with the Frog Street curriculum and would like to incorporate the learning and themes from the program to cater directly to your child! I also have experience teaching children as well as teens specifically in reading and writing. Most of my experience is ages 1-5. I believe in instilling independence and confidence in children and encourage creativity through crafts and exploration. I use positive discipline, praising helpful behavior and I avoid using the words "stop" or "don't." ("Don't do that" becomes "do this instead!") I strive to be a safe place for children and strongly believe in lettings kids be kids rather than solely preparing them for adulthood.
