Following Highschool, I worked part time at The Little Gym as a gymnastics and dance instructor for kiddos. I also taught parent-child classes where there was a strong focus on fine motor and cognitive skill development. Aside from babysitting, I also have a two year old. He's a joy!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of our daily activities might include painting (washable, of course), dancing, writing music and singing, taking walks outside, reading, and cooking/baking, just to name a few. I like to give choices and make the kiddos feel like they have the power to choose and make decisions on their own. "Do you want to go outside and play or stay inside and paint?" or "Would you rather have an apple or an orange for snack?"

Being a nanny is so special. Children are quite literally the future of our world. It is important that we nurture and support them as the grow and become more aware and involved in their communities. I want to do work that doesn't feel like work and that allows me to come as I am.
