A little bit about me

I am a fun-loving, responsible and passionate Early Childhood Educator dedicated to supporting the social/emotional, physical and academic development of young children. I'm looking for a position in the private/family sector where I can put my love of children and understanding of child development and learning to work. I believe that positive adult/child relationships build trust and self confidence in children and help prepare them for higher learning. As a preschool teacher for nearly two decades my goal has always been to create a warm, safe and fun environment in which to foster children's innate love of learning, and to support each child's personal growth and well-being by gently guiding them in their efforts to explore, gain new skills, understand new concepts, regulate their emotions, express themselves and be creative.
