Hello, My name is Nyii. I'm a 21
-year-old undergraduate student who has been working with children for several years. I started as a babysitter at the age of 12 and recently transitioned to becoming a nanny after spending over three years working in a daycare.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time reading, visiting museums, and exploring nature. Some of my favorite outdoor activities include fishing, taking long walks in the park, and flying kites.

I am truly passionate about working with children because I believe that they are the future and deserve all the support and guidance they can get to develop a healthy and positive lifestyle. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working with groups of five or more children at a time.

My top priorities when working with children are to create a safe environment and provide opportunities for fun and teachable moments. I strive to be a positive role model and help children develop the skills they need to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is understanding the kids you nanny for and connecting on their level. As adults, to understand children at times, you have to think like one and step into their shoes. Building a personal relationship with the children by recognizing their needs without them telling you, knowing their favorite toy, food, or thing to do really makes the job easier and builds a trustworthy relationship.

I have tutored a few children with autism as well as nanny services.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when my children wake from naps super energized, and we can do fun, hands-on activities such as making slime or taking trips to the park. I also really love the holidays. Being able to make gingerbread houses, bake cookies and create personalized ornaments with my children and seeing their faces light up really makes the job worthwhile.
