A little bit about me

I have been the designated babysitter to family and friends for as long as I can remember. My first professional job working with children was being a swim and a kids boxing/mma instructor, through that job I found my first nannying position in 2019 and I haven’t looked back since! I have experience with all age ranges and love to find developmentally appropriate activities to do in and outside of the house. I am CPR and first aide certified through the Philadelphia Nanny Network, which i’ve been with for 4 years now! I currently work with a 1, 2.5, and 4 year old and i’ve been with them for about a year, our contract ends March 23rd so I am available then. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a swim instructor and did baby and me classes, a boxing/mma instructor, and did some homeschooling in addition to nannying during the pandemic.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go on scavenger hunts in the woods if there are trails close, or just in town, finding baby and me classes, story times, sensory events, etc to help further socialize, them, i love setting up obstacle courses and physical activities to get their energy out! Or more relaxing calm activities like reading books, arts and crafts, yoga, etc. I am of the mindset messes can always be cleaned but memories are forever (if that is okay with your family obviously I’d do all the cleaning!)

The most important part about being a nanny...

To make everyone’s life a bit easier, and to make sure every child feels like they have another person who would do their best for them and someone to help them flourish and make their childhood special.

My experience with special needs children...

I have watched a child with ODD and ADHD for an extended period of time, and have worked with an older child who was in a wheelchair and autistic a handful of times, but i would not say I’m experienced enough to provide the utmost care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making birthday cakes for the kids of their favorite characters, traveling to the beach with them, or when they ran to me and gave me a big hug and said they loved me after I hadn’t seen them for a bit after their vacation.
