The most important part about being a nanny is providing safe, loving care while treating children with the kindness and attentiveness they deserve. Safety is always my top priority, but just as crucial is ensuring that children feel truly cared for. It’s important to create an environment where they can trust and feel comfortable. Beyond basic care, I believe in investing time in their growth—helping them develop academically, socially, and physically. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was watching the 13-month-old boy I cared for take his first big steps toward independence. Every day, we practiced walking near the playground, starting with shaky steps on the ground. At first, he was cautious, gripping my hands tightly, but over time, his confidence grew. Then one day, he was strong enough to walk over to the little playground on his own. Seeing him giggle with excitement as he explored, climbed, and interacted with other kids was so rewarding. It was incredible to witness his progress—from crawling to walking to playing—and to know I had supported him along the way.
