I also enjoy quieter activities like story time or board games that help keep kids engaged while also having fun. Outdoors, I love going to the park, playing games like tag or hide and seek, going for walks, or just allowing time for free play where kids can explore and be active. I also enjoy simple activities like nature walks or playing with balls and outdoor toys. The most important part of being a nanny to me is creating a safe and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. I want them to feel heard, cared for, and able to trust me. I also think it’s really important to build a strong relationship not just with the kids, but with the parents too, so everyone feels confident and on the same page. I love being part of their everyday routines whether it’s playing, reading, or just spending time together and making sure they’re having fun while also feeling secure. For me, it’s about finding that balance between being responsible and creating a positive, easygoing environment where kids can just be kids

The most important part about being a nanny...

We once spent a full afternoon building what they called a 'real rocket ship' out of cardboard boxes and they truly thought we were going to space. We did a countdown, made buttons, and packed snacks. It was such a fun reminder of how creative kids are. I also love the everyday things going to the library, picking out books, or heading to the park and just hanging out. Those simple moments are some of my favorites.
There's always a mix of fun and chaos too messy crafts, baking projects, and random dance parties that happen out of nowhere.
I really enjoy being someone kids can feel comfortable with while making sure they're having fun and enjoying their day.
