A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Samantha, I am offering child care, senior care, and some household services. I have taken food since, food health, as well as different mediums of art classes. What I don't know I am always willing and open to learn. I am currently trying to save up to be certified in CPR, first aid, and a few more certifications.

I have both personal experience and non personal experience with caring for infants to the ages of pre teens. I've taken care of my family's children most of my life and I have taken care of friends' children as well. I love interacting with children in new activities that they both need as well as interested in. I also love playing board games!

I absolutely adore animals too if you have any! I used to own a few dogs, bunnies, and birds in my life. I currently own a few cats. I even have experience taking care of a few exotic pets! So that will not be a problem with me if you own any.

In my high-school years, I volunteered to take care of kids during school functions, and helped with them during the busy times when the teachers were overwhelmed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

ART, READING, (with permission) cooking, things that makes them happy, and thrive. Be it walking to a park, playing in water, learning, board games, and so on. As long as they are engaged, happy, and content. I agree that kids should do stimulating activities where they also learn but I also believe that kids needs to indulge in things that they absolutely love no matter (age appropriate) what it is.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I personally believe that the most important thing is that the child's needs comes first. There is a big difference between wants and needs. A lot of people blur the two but as a nanny the utmost import thing is the child's well being.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with kids that are on the spectrum, I have experience with kids that have ADHD, I personally have dyslexia, and have experience in tutoring reading to kids like me. I am self taught and so I learned how to teach kids simular to me. Each at their own pace. You can't force something.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when I see the kid(s) light and bubble up excitedly as they talk. I don't mind if it's something new or something they have told me a 1000 times. As I see it it's them learning about themselves, socializing and communicating.
