Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a childcare working for 3 different daycare centers, and then a Pre-School teacher at a Pre-School. I have been babysitting since I was 14. I have been a Substitute for teacher for 2 different districts for ages Pre-k- High School. I have also been a nanny for a couple different families throughout the years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun Science Experiments, and cooking with them! I enjoy exploring nature and learning about the world around us. It is even more fun to learn as we explore and go for walks on trails and look for cool animals and rocks.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Getting to really pair with the kids and connect with those families. I love to see the children engaging and enjoying life. We can soak up those moments together.
My experience with special needs children...
I am a Registered Behavior Technician certified to work with Autistic children. Even though I can not work unless I am under a BCBA I still come with all that training and knowledge. I have worked at a summer school program with Autistic middle schoolers in a one on one setting. I have been around children with Special needs most of my life in different capacities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many it is hard to share just one. One of my favorites would have to be when we had a paint and shaving cream fight outside and the kids just loved it! I enjoyed hearing their little laughs while being covered in paint!
