A little bit about me

Hi everyone! My name is Sea (sayuh) and I’m 24 years old! I’m half Japanese/American. I’ve been babysitting consistently for about 9 years now. I grew up in a military family so I’ve babysat regularly in Japan, Virginia, & now San Diego! In Japan I was a teacher assistant for about 2 years before I moved back to the states and I’m currently a full time student working towards my degree in hospitality management. I absolutely adore children and have a passion for them! I bring a fun & upbeat energy to childcare and love encouraging children to explore their creativity through imaginative play. I’ve worked with children from infancy to ages 12 in both personal and professional settings. I’m open to doing overnight stays as well if needed. Although I have been CPR certified for babysitting through the red cross on base, I haven’t gotten it updated since before Covid. But I can assure you I’ll know exactly what to do if an emergency were to occur. I have a car and a clean driving record.

I worked as a teacher assistant in Yokosuka, Japan where I supported classroom instruction for children ages 5 to 12. My responsibilities included preparing educational materials, assisting with lesson delivery, and helping maintain an engaging learning environment.

I enjoy engaging children in fun and enriching activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, reading, and building forts! I also love taking them outdoors for walks to the park, playing active games, and helping them burn off energy in a positive way. The most important part about being a nanny...

I served as a full-time nanny for a military family in Japan for about a year. As they prepared for their move, I kept the children engaged while the movers packed, often getting creative and turning unused moving boxes into fun activities. Despite their toys being packed away, we always found ways to play, laugh, and stay busy. A year later, after relocating to San Diego, I had the special opportunity to reconnect with the family while they were visiting. It was heartwarming to see how much the girls had grown and to catch up with their mom, with whom I had built a strong relationship during my time with them.
