A little bit about me

Hello Family,

My name is Silvia Seleny and as an early childhood educator, I bring genuine vocation, empathy, and a deep commitment to respectful parenting and children's holistic development. My goal is always to help each child reach their full potential across every stage of growth, from infancy to preschool.

Eighteen months ago, I moved to San Francisco, where I began volunteering at the SOMACC Center in Yerba Buena Gardens. There, I supported immigrant families and coordinated early stimulation activities for children from birth to five, creating experiences that fostered learning, connection, and healthy development.

I currently work part-time with two families, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. My responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate developmental activities, reading aloud, and organizing outings to parks, museums, and libraries.
