More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. I currently care for my newborn godson, who comes over almost every other day, and I help with his everyday needs while making sure he is safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have also babysat for family, friends, and other families hundreds of times throughout my life, so being around children is something I’m very comfortable with. I’m patient, attentive, playful, and naturally good with kids. I have references who can speak about my experience and the way I care for children, and I’m confident that I can provide your child with a safe, loving, and positive environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities with children, such as arts and crafts, coloring, reading, playing games, watching movies, dancing, and listening to music. I also enjoy outdoor activities like going to the park, taking walks, and playing outside when appropriate. I like finding activities that keep children engaged while also allowing them to learn, be creative, and have fun. Most importantly, I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and doing things they genuinely enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, loved, respected, and comfortable while their parents are away. I believe being dependable and patient is just as important as keeping them entertained. A nanny should also communicate well with the parents, follow their routines and rules, and treat every child with kindness and understanding.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience caring for children with special needs through my godbrother and cousin. I’m comfortable providing care, being patient, following their routines, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and included. I understand that every child is different and may have their own needs, personality, and way of communicating. I’m willing to learn what works best for each child and provide the same patience, kindness, and attention I would give to any child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments is when a child I’m caring for becomes comfortable enough to completely be themselves around me. Whether we’re playing, laughing, reading, or just having a simple day together, I love seeing their personality come out. It means a lot when a child trusts me, looks forward to seeing me, and feels safe around me. Those little moments remind me why I enjoy caring for children so much.
