"I’m a first time mom, with no family around me and I hired Sheila to help me with my 7 month old. Sheila was a godsend. While navigating postpartum depression and anxiety, she helped me with my daughter by caring for her while I had to work. Sheila would come in with a baby journal and would log everything from what my baby ate to the number of wet diapers she had that day. She even logged how many hours my baby slept. She taught me a few tips and tricks to doing my baby’s hair and would occasionally cook for me and my small family. Sheila has become family to us and I’m not sure I would have made it these first few months of my baby’s life without her assistance. Sheila is very organized and she has not ONCE been late for the whole year that she’s been with us. She’s very respectful and knows so much about caring for infants and toddlers. I particularly found her help so encouraging when my baby was sick. Sheila was very observant and would help me take her to urgent care or the hospt"

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to grow. Building a strong bond of trust with both the children and their parents is essential, as it allows me to provide the best care possible. I take pride in not only meeting their daily needs but also helping them learn, explore, and develop their unique personalities. Being a nanny isn’t just a job—it’s about being a positive and reliable presence in a child’s life, shaping their early experiences with kindness, patience, and love.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments was the first day my little one started school. She was so nervous that instead of getting out of the car, she squeezed herself under the steering wheel near the pedals, refusing to budge! It took some gentle coaxing (and maybe a little bribery) to finally get her out and through the school doors. Looking back, it’s a moment that always makes me smile because it shows just how much trust and comfort she felt with me.
