Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was previously employed by Kindercare as the lead infant teacher (ages 6 weeks to 12 months). I occasionally assisted teachers in their classrooms as well (ages 1 year-12 years). I was also the Nursery Director for Kent First Christian Church where I cared for little ones from 6 months to 5 years. In addition, I was also previously retained as a nanny for a family by caring for their daughter from the time she was 1 to 2.5 years old. Most recently, I worked for a family in Tacoma where my duties included getting the children ready and providing transportation to school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts are always fun! It's so interesting to see what the children end up creating. I love having mini dance parties with the children to Disney songs, singing nursery rhymes, bubble time, wet and messy, and going for walks! During quiet time I love to color, draw or read with the children.
