Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
When I was working as aupair with a family With 3 little munchkins aged 8, 6. And 2. The two bigger kids were home schooled- so I helped them with school on Mondays till Thursday and Fridays would be for out door activities such as scavenger hunting, rock painting, pool time, playing scooters and bikes around the neighborhood and taking walks too.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time with kids and engaging in activities that bring out their creativity and joy! Dancing together to their favorite songs always puts a big smile on their faces, and I enjoy watching them express themselves through movement. Reading books together is another favorite pastime of mine, as it sparks their imagination and love for learning. I also enjoy painting and doing arts and crafts with kids, as it allows them to tap into their creativity and bring their ideas to life. These activities not only bring me happiness but also create special bonding moments with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is being a "mother's eye" - providing care and attention to the children as if they were my own. This means being fully present and engaged in their lives, anticipating their needs, and responding with love, compassion, and patience. It's about creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that allows them to grow, learn, and thrive. By doing so, I strive to give parents peace of mind, knowing that their little ones are receiving the same level of care and devotion that they would provide themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
My recent experience is special needs, he was 3 when I started working with him last year. This month the family moved to Colorado and unfortunately I couldn’t move with them. He is now 4 years old.
He is a miracle baby,who came into this world @25weeks. He is none verbal, autistic and feeds through G-Tube.He loved it when I read books for him,and of course “Llama Llama Red Pajamas” is his favorite and obviously he’ll have reading it through the whole day😅. Together, Myself and his parents would join some of his speech therapy sessions, in order to learn more about how to understand him better. We hardly had screen time as we always had something to as he is a very curious little person.

My favorite moments as a nanny are the sweet and snuggly times spent cuddling and reading books together. There's something special about wrapping little ones in a warm hug and settling in for a reading adventure. Watching their eyes light up with wonder and curiosity as we turn the pages, and hearing their giggles and gasps of delight, fills my heart with joy. These quiet moments of connection and bonding are truly the most precious, and I cherish the memories we create together in these cozy reading books!
