More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have cared for children in a variety of informal and part-time settings, including babysitting for family friends, volunteering at local events, and assisting with younger siblings or relatives. These experiences helped me develop patience, a strong sense of responsibility, and a natural ability to connect with children across different age groups.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in creative and educational activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, imaginative play, and outdoor games. I also enjoy baking simple treats together or organizing scavenger hunts that mix fun with learning. My goal is always to keep kids active, curious, and smiling.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, respectful relationship with both the child and the family. It's about creating a safe, nurturing space where children feel loved, encouraged, and empowered to grow. As a nanny, I strive to be a positive role model—someone children can count on for both comfort and fun.
My experience with special needs children...
While I have limited direct experience with children with special needs, I approach every child with empathy, patience, and a willingness to adapt. I’m eager to learn more and would welcome any guidance or training necessary to provide the best possible care. I truly believe every child deserves understanding and support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little girl I cared for proudly “taught” me how to make a mud pie in the backyard. She explained every step like a mini chef, complete with pretend ingredients and a lot of giggles. At the end, she looked up at me and said, “You’re my best helper.” It was such a sweet reminder that the smallest moments

Although my professional career has taken me into management and human resources, some of my most rewarding work has been caring for children. During both college and law school I worked part-time as a private nanny for two families with multiple children. I love creating fun, engaging experiences while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I am looking for a close to full time, or full time position with one family.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Seattle, WA: Katrina T.
Hello! I’m Katrina! I am graduating from UW with degrees in French and psychology this June and looking to nanny for the summer as the elementary school location of the Boys and Girls Club I currently work at will be closed for the summer. I’ve been working with kids for around a year and a half now, and love it so much! Spending time getting to know the kids and building strong connections (and working on SEL) while having fun are what make this type of work so meaningful to me. Since it will be summer, I’d love to take the kids outside to walk around, play, or do other fun activities. I’m happy to help out around the house as well. My schedule will be very open, so I could work pretty much whenever needed. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to coordinate :)
