Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing all kinds of fun and meaningful activities with children. I love reading with them, doing arts and crafts, building little forts, and using pretend play to spark their imagination. I also like getting them outside for walks, trips to the park, chalk drawings, or simple games that let them burn energy and explore. I help with learning by supporting homework, practicing letters and numbers, doing puzzles, or trying easy science activities. I enjoy involving kids in simple cooking or baking, teaching good routines like cleaning up, and encouraging positive manners. I also like offering calming moments with quiet story time, gentle stretching, or nap time routines, and I think it’s great for kids to join activities like library story time or approved playdates to help them grow and socialize.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love seeing how proud they are when they learn something new, whether it’s tying their shoes, counting, or reading a new word. Their laughter during fun activities always brightens my day. Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones—reading together, calming them when they’re upset, or helping them settle down for a nap. I enjoy watching their confidence grow when I encourage them to try something new. It always touches me when they run to greet me, draw me a picture, or show kindness because of something I taught them.
