A passionate childcare giver since teenage years! I have worked as a Infant/toddler teacher for 2 years, Pre-K 3 years, and have experience nannying for 2 years! My passion is mental, emotional development as-well as fine motor skills! I expect to create an empowering environment where kids are able to ask questions, express themselves, discover on their own, and work together. Confidence, teamwork, and individuality are what I promote and build my lessons around. I am experienced with project creation among specific age groups and in larger groups. Specialized in indoor and outdoor play activities and STEM activities, meditation/self care, etc. As I am used to cleaning a facility with over 30+ students, I am comfortable keeping houses tidy and preparing meals. (Yes, vegan options lol) I work with children with or without specific schedules, health requirements, disabilities, or diet requirements.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Working as a teacher I am experienced with project creation among specific age groups and coordinating these projects smoothly in larger groups. While I prefer to work with children and find their interests, I believe in giving a child new experiences and consistently come up with new activities for them… especially outdoor activities. Activities such as building, crafts, dancing, etc. I believe that children should be as creative as possible and especially use their environment that they are in to fuel their creativity and I achieve this by doing crafts using things in the environment. Little one loves music? lets paint and build our own flutes. Your child loves building? We’re building houses from what we find in the garden or park. there’s truly no limit to how creative a child to be. Specialized in indoor and outdoor play activities and STEM activities. I have experience working in faith based facilities and creating lessons for children and families who follow the practice.

I have experience working with children with ADHD, anxiety, and High functioning autism. I am always willing listen and adapt to a child’s needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

my absolute favorite moment was when I taught my class of children their phone numbers. Not only were they very excited and consistently repeating their phone numbers to everybody, their parents were really proud of them for learning those and it really good knowing that they had their phone number if they ever got lost.
